1 Thessalonians tells us to “pray without ceasing”
Students on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus are coming together once again to take that
scripture to heart!
C3 groups Chi Alpha (Assemblies of God student group) and LoveASU (prayer ministry devoted to revival at ASU) are uniting on Tuesday, October 22, at 7 p.m., to begin a new season of 24-hour prayer on the nation’s largest campus. A bright-white tent will stand midst the masses of students rushing between classes, a tent that will be occupied by Christian students fervently praying for the campus and willing to pray with anyone who is searching for God or needing God’s help.
The launch of this game-changing event takes place this year (for the first time) at C3 with a night of worship and prayer to kick-start a 30-day season of intercession. With unity between all ministries being the theme of the night, C3’s mission as a place for ASU Christians to seek God together makes it an ideal spot to begin this season of expectancy and submission. Students and leaders from any ministry are invited to attend and call upon God to build up of the body of Christ and seek God’s direction as to how to serve the campus.
All who have a heart for this next season of prayer are encouraged to come and see how God is shaking up ASU in the best possible way. To sign up for a prayer slot at the Prayer Tent on ASU’s Tempe campus, go to: www.loveasu.com
